WHO IS OUR KEY NOTE SPEAKER ON FRIDAY? JONATHAN WOLFF!!!
You already know his work. As the composer for every episode of Seinfeld, Will & Grace, and over 70 other primetime network series, Jonathan Wolff created some of TV’s best-known sonic brands. Now as an in-demand entertainment speaker, he’ll share his music and Hollywood stories with your group to inspire, educate, and entertain.
PS - Who is on his shoulder?
Jean-Michel Byron is a globally renowned, internationally recognized singer, songwriter, arranger and also music producer. He is the former Lead Singer of the Grammy award winning supergroup Toto. (Africa , Rossana, Out Of Love , Georgy Porgy etc)
He also co-wrote 4 songs for the album Past to Present by Toto. Including the iconic love ballad “ Out of Love “
He has worked with many great artists and bands such as The Scorpions, Kenny Loggins, Ginger Baker from the band Cream (with Eric Clapton )Dave Mason from the band Traffic (with Steve Winwood ) plus the Legendary Dionne Warwick. He also did a song with the great Cris Botti called “ Coffee for One” Plus many more around the world. Jean-Michel is a throwback. He loves Music. Not only particular styles of music. As long as it’s great music , the styles don’t matter. This is why he navigates between genres so easily. He remains a student. “ A Slightly experienced student “ He adds jokingly. This Los Angeles based artist was born in Apartheid South Africa but moved to America to pursue his dreams. A dream that he is still living every day. Playing, singing and performing all over the world. When asked how he doing ? He responds, using a quote from a woman living on the streets of LA.
“ Sometimes it’s chicken, sometimes it is feathers ” Despite his great love for literature , this phrase remains one of his favorites.
John Cowan, also known as the Voice of Newgrass, has been singing his heart out for more than forty years now, and his soaring vocals have only improved with time. A true innovator, John applies his powerful pipes to genres from country, bluegrass, and gospel to soul, jazz, and rock-and-roll – often within the space of a single concert. His ability to move fluidly through multiple styles, and carry mesmerized audiences on the journey with him, has set him apart as one of the most loved and admired vocal artists of his generation, not just by fans and critics but among fellow musicians as well.
With his distinctive, rock-tinged tenor vocal and heart-thumping electric bass, John, along with fellow New Grass Revival band mates Sam Bush, Courtney Johnson, and Curtis Burch, and later Bela Fleck and Pat Flynn, introduced a new generation of music fans to an explosive, experimental and ultimately, eponymous brand of bluegrass. The “newgrass” sound spawned popular jam bands such as Leftover Salmon and Yonder Mountain String Band in addition to shaping the sensibilities of country megastars Garth Brooks, the Dixie Chicks, the Zac Brown Band, and Darius Rucker.
After New Grass Revival disbanded in 1990, John went on to record a series of critically acclaimed solo albums including Soul’d Out (Sugar Hill, 1986), the self-titled John Cowan (Sugar Hill, 2000), Always Take Me Back (Sugar Hill, 2002), New Tattoo(Pinecastle, 2006), 8,745 Feet, Live at Telluride (2005, re-released by E-1 Entertainment, 2009), Comfort & Joy (E-1 Entertainment, 2009), The Massenburg Sessions (E-1 Entertainment, 2010) and Sixty (Compass, 2014).
The John Cowan Band, in various incarnations that inevitably feature some of acoustic music’s finest players, has been a force to be reckoned with these fifteen years – and counting. John is a fixture and a favorite at major festivals like the Telluride Bluegrass Festival in Colorado and Wilkesboro, North Carolina’s “traditional-plus” MerleFest, and he routinely sells out performing arts theaters and distinguished music clubs and listening rooms around the country. Stints in his band have helped launch the careers of Noam Pikelny (Punch Brothers), Luke Bulla (Lyle Lovett), and Scott Vestal, among others.
John also is known for mixing it up; his creative collaborations range from his 2012 MerleFest performance alongside Darrell Scott and Pat Simmons to appearances with Nashville favorites The Long Players and Grooveyard. On his 2010 recording, The Massenburg Sessions, John joined forces with legendary producer George Massenburg (Little Feat, Randy Newman, Linda Ronstadt and others) to craft a collection that has the warm, intimate feel of a living room jam. It features duets with Maura O’Connell and Del McCoury.
In 2014, John recorded what many say is his most adventurous one yet, Sixty. Star packed with the likes of Bonnie Bramlett, Ray Benson, Sam Bush, Rodney Crowell, Chris Hillman, John Jorgenson, Alison Krauss, Bernie Leadon, Huey Lewis, Jim Messina, Leon Russell, John McFee and others this album set a new standard of excellence.
These days, John Cowan fans have to wait a little longer between shows and possibly travel a little farther to get to them. That’s because he’s working his regular gig travelling the world with the Doobies, laying down the low notes and singing the high ones as they perform hits such as “Black Water,” “China Grove,” “Taking it to the Streets,” and “Listen to the Music” as well as new songs that showcase the relevancy of this iconic classic rock band.
In 2020 John, along with his former New Grass Revival bandmates Sam Bush, Courtney Johnson, Ebo Walker, Curtis Burch, Butch Robins, Bela Fleck and Pat Flynn, was inducted into the prestigious Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame. This honor solidifies their place as one of the most influential bands in Bluegrass music history.
2021 found John prepping for the recording of a new album, his first in more than 7 years, this time with an amazing pairing of world-class musician that include Andrea Zonn in a group they are calling The HercuLeons. Produced by the legendary singer/songwriter Wendy Waldman is has them recording with a superstar list of session players and is expected to be released in late 2022.
2021 also showcased him guesting on a star-studded tribute album to one of his friends and musical heroes, the late Tony Rice. The Rice Tribute album was released on Christmas Eve to critical praise.
2022 had John performing in the Doobie Brothers 50th Anniversary Tour as well as playing dates with The HercuLeons as schedules permit.
2023 opened with John setting up residency every Tuesday night in January at Nashville’s 3rd & Lindsley music club with Andrea Zonn and The HercuLeons along with very special guests. Each Tuesday found them inviting an iconic guest to the show. Guests included Jim Messina, John Hall & Lance Hoppen of Orleans, Radney Foster & Bill Lloyd (Foster & Lloyd) and wrapping it all up with Darrell Scott.
John is also touring, when off the road from The Doobie Brothers, with an allstar packed group he has named “The Newgrass All-Stars”. Jim Hurst, Shad Cobb, Johnny Staats and Steven Moore will accompany John on a series of dates focusing on Newgrass favorites with some surprises tossed in. John will also return to the road with The Doobies as they tour Japan, Australia, Canada and the US in 2023. This makes for a very exciting year!
“I love my ‘job’,” Cowan says. “I love these guys. I love being in a band – a great band – and I love playing music for people every night. I’m also very grateful for every opportunity I have to play my own music for the fans that have been so loyal to me over the years. I don’t ever want to stop sharing my music with them.”
Blending the sounds of Country, Gospel, Worship and Classic Rock, Todd Tilghman's raspy, soulful voice, contagious enthusiasm, and tangible authenticity all definitely stand out in a crowd. Todd has been married to his high school sweetheart, Brooke, since 1998. The couple have eight children. Todd is most well known as the winner of the 18th Season of NBC's "The Voice". Todd describes his music as "slice of life". He shares real lyrics about real life and faith, often finding it challenging to squeeze inside a particular genre. "I just want people to hear the music and immediately remember experiences in their own lives. I want it to have meat, you know? I want to do what I can with my music to share with the world those things that are universally important to us all: love, and family, and faith, and the passing of time, and I'll throw in a little soul and some fun too."
Someday, the world will wake up and realize that a hilarious joke has been perpetrated on American culture as Dan Keen, a man with no discernible employable skills, has enjoyed a long career in Nashville’s music industry and higher education. In publishing he has award-winning stints at Meadowgreen Music (Sony) and Sparrow Publishing (now Capitol Christian Music Group) to his credit. His songwriting resulted in an ASCAP Award, a #1 song on the CCM charts and songs on Grammy nominated albums. He has also recorded two albums as an artist, one of which went Naugahyde (37 copies sold!).
He spent 16 years as an Adjunct Professor at Belmont University before being appointed to the full-time faculty in 2010. This frightens and astounds parents all across the country. Dan has twice been a Finalist for Belmont University’s Presidential Faculty Achievement Award. But the committee knew better than to declare him the winner.
Dan spent 16 fruitful years at ASCAP dominating the market in his area of purview and rising to become a Vice President there. He served on Industry Boards (GMA, IBMA), did all kinds of groovy stuff blah blah blah. He now dreams of sitting in the Rockies and playing his guitar all day.
Dan has four children and lives in Franklin, Tennessee with his wife and one of the kids who hasn’t escaped yet.
Described by Sound on Sound magazine as having "his name on more hit records than anyone else in the history of popular music", he is well known for his work with major acts, including Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Roxy Music, The Pretenders, and Bryan Adams. He has mixed some of the most iconic live shows in music history, including Live Aid, The Concert for New York for 9/11, and most recently, the Foo Fighters Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts at Wembley Stadium and The Forum. Records he mixed have won eight Grammys. His most recent nomination was for Best Immersive Audio Album, "The Savior". He has also been nominated for five Emmy Awards, winning two for Saturday Night Live's 40th Anniversary Special and 25th Anniversary Rock-n-Roll Concert.

Founded from Experience:
Our journey began with the vision of Kevin Zuccaro, a seasoned audio engineer with extensive experience at industry leaders like JBL, Cerwin-Vega, and M-Audio. Zuccaro’s dedication to the craft and belief in the importance of an accurate listening experience are the cornerstones of Fluid Audio’s philosophy.
User-Centric Design:
We understand the importance of accessibility and believe that powerful tools shouldn’t come at a prohibitive cost. Our products are meticulously designed to be intuitive and user-friendly, catering to the diverse needs of musicians and producers at various stages in their creative endeavors.
Beyond Technical Specifications:
While technical specifications are important, we recognize that creating captivating audio involves more than just a flat frequency response. Our approach prioritizes phase coherence between frequencies, resulting in accurate sound reproduction with depth and clarity. This meticulous attention to detail ensures that our products not only deliver sonic accuracy but also translate into a truly inspiring listening and creation experience.
A Collaborative Spirit:
Joining Zuccaro in this pursuit is Kenneth Rustad, whose expertise in technology and customer engagement, honed through his work at HP, Avid, and Steinberg, complements Zuccaro’s technical prowess perfectly. Their combined passion and collaborative spirit fuel Fluid Audio’s mission to empower the creative community.

Pursing this dream Dr. and Mrs. William Tyler donated approximately 8.5 acres to the City of Owensboro for the start of the garden and the 501(c)(3) organization was born and named the Western Kentucky Botanical Garden. A few years later another acre was purchased to create a separate entrance to the Garden.
Under the guidance of the Board of Directors and many local horticultural professionals and enthusiasts, The Garden has become a center for the growth and display of hundreds of outstanding plant selections as well as a beautiful location for social gatherings, weddings, receptions and meetings. Special events, educational tours, and classes are provided for all ages and a library reference center serves the community with information on plant life. The Garden demonstrates practical solutions to the gardening problems of our region.
Educational programs have been developed for seniors, area schools and groups such as the Girl Scouts, homeschool kids, preschool kids, etc. Botanical, horticultural, and environmental information is offered through our newsletter, library, special events and classes.
An 1890s Country Doctor’s Office was moved to The Garden in 2006 and is located in the Fruit and Berry Garden. This building is being preserved for displays to show the use of herbal medicines at the time the building was in use during the late 1890s and early 1900s.
In late 2020, The Garden purchased WeatherBerry, a historic home built in 1840, and the adjoining 4 acres. Starting in March 2022, WeatherBerry will be home to The Garden's Welcome Center and will include a small gift shop.
The Garden has thirteen themed gardens including the Moonlite Children’s Garden sponsored by the Bosley family. The Bill and Marilyn Young Educational Classroom provides a space for educational opportunities. The Playhouse In The Garden in honor of Morton Holbrook is providing great fun for children at The Garden. Not only does The Garden provide essential "quality of life" benefits to our community, it serves as an important tourism driver for the economy.
